At Fairbridge, the young people were put in to new and challenging activities such as a high-rope course that helps them to push the boundaries of their comfort zones.
Other trips have sent groups to Wales for Hiking & Caving in the Llechwedd Slate Caverns.
PROGRAM ACTIVITIES: CHALLENGING EXPERIENCES

Sporting activities get the young people into the great outdoors where they typically get to white-water raft, spend a day at an equestrian school, learn dry-skiing and experience a survival camp. These activities take place throughout the British Isles and the group travels to special centers and stay in youth hostels. They work with expert instructors to gain the skills necessary to participate in rock-climbing, gorge-walking and a high-ropes course in Snowdonia, Wales.

Working together as a team with different abilities, helps them to learn tolerance and also challenges them to participate in new experiences with an open mind.
